Saturday 24th October at Bury Farm. Both BRC qualifier classes and unaffiliated classes count for Trailblazers.

Please be assured this will not change the way we run our Dressage series and we will all still provide a friendly and relaxed atmosphere that you have come to expect.  Our BRC Championship qualifier classes will also not be affected.  They will run exactly the same as they usually do, but you can qualify for the BRC Championship and the Trailblazers 2nd round from riding the same test.  Please ask us if you're confused.

 

What is Trailblazers?

 

Trailblazers provides unaffiliated competitors with an opportunity to qualify and compete at the Trailblazers Dressage Championship Finals at Addington Manor. With no membership fee competitors can choose what level to compete at. 

 

Trailblazers competitions in all disciplines can be treated as simply unaffiliated classes – just pay the entry fee to compete.

 

To qualify for the Trailblazers Championships, the process is straightforward: 

 

1. Enter a Trailblazers First Round Qualifier. 

2. Qualify in the competition in the following way:

Dressage - gain 58% or more

3. Purchase a Dressage Qualification Card costing £12 from us at the show. 

4. Send the Dressage Qualification Card to the Trailblazers Show Secretary to receive a Second Round Qualification Form.

5. Enter as many second rounds as you wish, at any venue to qualify for the Trailblazers Championship Finals. Dressage second rounds are held between March – June by all venues that hold dressage first round qualifiers. 

6. If you qualify, you must get the show secretary to sign your Second Round Qualification Form and then return it to the Trailblazers Show Secretary.

7. MKRC will notify the Trailblazers Central Office if you qualify at the second round.

8. The digital schedule for the Trailblazers Championship Finals will be available online in June prior to the Championships.
