Milton Keynes Riding Club
Your Committe is run by a team of hard working volunteers who are doing as much as they can to make MKRC a fantastic club to be a part of.
Jo - Vice Chair
Hi, I'm Jo. I have been around horses/ponies for over 30 years. In that time I have been lucky enough to compete internationally in show-jumping, working with many top riders and also showing to a top standard including RIHS. I have a good knowledge base of most disciplines and equine management. I really am proud to be sort of the committee for MKRC and I'm really excited to see the club grow from strength to strength. I look forward to meeting the club members at our demo's and clinics
Natalie - Treasurer.
Natalie works full time, in her spare time she likes to ride/compete her mare Poppy, they enjoy Dressage, Show Jumping and Eventing
Laura - Membership Secretary.
Laura has 2 horses, her main eventer is Tally who is currently at BE100 and went to Badminton last year for the Grassroots Championship.
Wendy - Chairperson
Hi, Im Wendy, Ive owned horses now for about 10 years. I used to do some low level eventing until I had a riding accident 3 years resulting in 2 broken legs. I now have a new horse and am trying to re build my confidence. We went to the Trailblazers Dressage Champs last year and qualified again this year.
Isabel - Committee Member
Hi my name is Isabel although new to riding clubs I have been involved with horses for over 30 years. I currently own Dancer a coloured wbxcob who I rehomed from the Blue Cross 3 years ago. Being a mum to 2 young boys Dancer doesn't do as much as she should but quite enjoys being a happy hacker with the occasional schooling session. As part of the MKRC committee my main aim is to ensure that the riding club remains welcoming to leisure riders, happy hackers and aspiring competitors alike and all those wanting to do the best for their horses.
Sue - Committee Member.
HI, Im Sue and I enjoy eventing in my spare time, as long as my horse Henry hasnt been reading his veterinary manual which he has hidden somewhere in his stable. He likes to come up with new ways to stay on the sick list!
Rachael - Team Manager
I've been part of riding clubs for about 12 years now. Competed in all disciplines at all levels over the years. Been to all championships as competitor and team manager.
Currently I have two full brothers, Folly and Spider. Spider competes at affiliated dressage and we are still developing his jumping career! Folly has just had the all clear
to start full work again after being very poorly and I'm so pleased to do anything again with him as it was very touch and go at one point! I also 'borrow' my Mum's coloured mare Lulu who has done very little and is a lovely project.
Laura W - Team Manager
Laura owns 3 mini shetlands and spends her time driving Oli. They compete in indoor driving trials throughout the winter and have qualified fir the National finals for the last three years running
Becca - Welfare Officer.
Becca is the Yard Manager and MKEC and is one of resident instructors. Becca competes and teaches across Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country. MKRC will be holding regular clinics with Becca.
